My Thoughts & Notes:
The perfect Summer beach read! This was my favorite Emily Henry book so far. I loved beach read, thought people we meet on vacation was so-so, and loved book lovers. Happy Place surprised me in such a good way and I absolutely loved it!
There were so many small character details about Harriet that I connected with. It’s always fun to find characters that are so relatable, even when it’s something small like loving cozy mysteries.
This was a OUABC selection and I loved 2 of the 3 gift items. My favorite gift was the first one; it couldn’t have been a more perfect gift for me! An Oregon cozy mystery called Death Bee Comes Her by Nancy Coco. It finally occurred to me while reading this that cozies always have super punny titles and I love them for them same reason Harriet does. The second gift I may eventually use - fun clear with pink glitter pool blow up - and the third gift was a small towel that I won’t use so I’ll set that aside to donate.
