I Heart New York by Lindsey Kelk
5.0
As a girl called Angela, who is a Libran, I felt a instant connection with the character Angela Clark!
She's funny, quirky, sarcastic (but not in an obnoxious way) and modest, just your normal girl, until she finds her boyfriend cheating on her with a tennis playing tart in the backseat of her car..on her best friends wedding day.
After breaking the grooms hand, crying herself to sleep and peeing somewhere she shouldn't, Angela makes a decision, she's going to New York!
What a way to heal a broken heart!
What follows is the dream for all women, wining and dining and, most importantly, shopping!!
This read won't be life affirming, it won't test your faith or force you to make any groundbreaking discoveries about yourself, but it is a wonderful, fun read! And if you're not reading for fun, then what's the point I say!
