Melville also explores the intersection between parks and cemeteries, the changing nomenclature from burial yards to cemeteries, the various claims of first and much much more. I also appreciated his look at the three NYC cemeteries beyond Trinity:Green-Wood, Woodlawn and Central Park and their roles as art galleries. An excellent read
