One of the sweetest, most poignant LGBTQ story that I have read in a long time. Yaichi's journey in recognizing and confronting his internalized homophobia was expertly handling, and I love that Mike, while being a confidant to a closeted gay man and a mentor to a young boy just discovering his sexuality, his character doesn't start and stop at his own sexuality. He's also a husband, a beloved uncle, a tourist taking in Japanese culture, a widower, he's able to be a well-rounded and complete person.

Every emotion this story aims for hits the mark exactly and I was left with a satisfying feeling of closure at the end. Definitely a must read for manga lovers and those that enjoy queer themes.
