4.0

The best thing about the book are the characters. The way things unfolded not because of the actions of one single character but because of the clash of interests between several makes the story so intriguing and thought provoking.

The book would've been a 5 star read for me but there are two things that didn't make sense to me/I cannot relate to.
1) How can you misremember someone for 5 years?
2) If someone is responsible for your dog's demise, you don't just say "I forgive you". That's unacceptable.

Hence, the 4 stars. Otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed it!
