Tom Sawyer Abroad by Mark Twain
2.0
The charm of the Tom Sawyer/Huckleberry Finn stories is the setting of the Mississippi River and their adventures on lazy summer days. That is lost in this fantastic tale of the boys and Jim taking a balloon ride to Egypt. Most of it is Tom complaining about the ignorance of his friends and them trying to trip him up in his explanations of what they are seeing down below. Mildly amusing.
