I’m usually a sucker for this kind of trope… both MCs hopelessly in love and thinking the other doesn’t feel the same way until they get their shit together. It wasn’t bad per say, it just felt a bit rushed and it drove me crazy that EVERY chapter ended with the sentence “but things didn’t go as planned” or some iteration of. I can only handle such a lack of communication before I want to pull my hair out. I was screaming “JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER” over and over again, it’s hard to believe people who knew each other so well and for so long would be completely clueless about the others feelings but oh well
