The characters are one dimensional, and almost all plot lines can be seen several chapters before they are explicitly revealed. Due to the characters' lack of dimension, it was hard to root for any of them since their "true passions" were overshadowed by relationships built on little foundation. Works well for a light read since keeping up with the story doesn't require too much concentration.
