i love the world building in this book. it's so packed with little (and big) references to so many different traditions and folklores and religions. i was sent down so many wikipedia rabbit holes.

reviewing a book like this is hard because it feels like everything that could be said has already been said. it's an objectively good book! i enjoyed it!
