This book is like nothing they’ve ever written, and yet they still manage to bring the magic to each and every page. Going into this book blind was a bit harder for me. I’m used to the romcoms this duo tends to write, and this was definitely not a romcom by any means. Instead, it’s filled with action, twists, deceit, loss, pain, past memories, fears, etc.

Instead of just falling in love with the characters and being able to see the story unfold like a movie, this book felt far more realistic to me instead. It felt like I was there – which is amusing, considering I’d never have the stamina to hike and boulder climb and seek out the endeavors they went through.

This book provides some history with a fictional twist, characters your grow to love, characters you’re forced to question, and twists you never see coming. I cannot recommend this book enough, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!
