This was a really sweet tale that fits in perfectly between the end of the His Dark Materials trilogy and the start of the Book of Dust trilogy and explores Lyra’s relationship with Pan much more - and somewhat soothes my feelings about it. I hated Lyra and Pan being left in a state of tension and somewhat in a state of turmoil, but this story alleviates that, which I am very glad for.
