All I can say is Wow! What a horrifying and beautifully written novel. This book is not at all what I was expecting and exceeded my expectations. I love this book. Mexican Gothic is not like anything I’ve ever read before, it is so unique.

This is the story about an isolated mansion in 1950s Mexico and a young socialite determined to investigate the many secrets behind the walls that incite violence and madness. If you like gothic horror then this is the book for you! It is definitely worth all the hype.
