Junji Ito’s artwork is definitely great as always, but a lot of these stories where pretty underwhelming or just.. weird? I enjoyed Roar and Earthbound especially, but many, such as Ghosts of Prime Time and In Mirror Valley failed to create the same sense of unease or downright disgust that is present in much of his work. Nothing necessarily bad, but more just lukewarm ideas with exceptional art.
