Help Wanted by Adelle Waldman

This book reminded me of Superstore in a lot of ways, but not necessarily like the writer ripped it off, since unfortunately a lot of the issues in this book, and the show, are just reality now. A lot of it made me think differently about retail, management, and corporations, and while I already had certain feelings about that anyway, it was interesting to see how it was portrayed in fiction and made me hope that this book might get through to people who doesn’t already feel that way about things. Overall, a quick, realistic read, though the lack of a resolution was realistic, yes, I wish there was something a bit more definite there.
