By this point, I have read all of the Cat Ninja comics more times than I can count with the kids I tutor. I love the conclusion of the family themes in this arc. Sometimes, a family is two separated parents, two kids, three superhero pets, one robot dog, and all the friends they met along the way (or in Hoot's case, "a whole bunch of mamas!") - and that's okay.
Hoot is adorable and my favorite part is her interaction with The Fury Roach. They're both so precious and supportive of each other (and everyone around them), and I appreciate that kind of wholesome positivity in my life.
There were no bonus Cat Ninja Tales chapters or quizzes at the end of Volume 2, but there are a few pages of concept art from the artist and that's pretty neat to see.
