I am so glad I didn’t give up on Emily Henry books after People We Meet on Vacation because this one 🥺🥺🥺
Sometimes books feel like they were made both from you and for you. It all just clicks and you feel truly seen. Little aspects of yourself that you’ve hidden away, brought to light again by the pages of a book. BOOK LOVERS was one of those books.
I’ve never tabbed a book (that wasn’t for school before) but just had to because of all the moments that gave me an emotional sucker punch.
Loved it for the characters. Loved it for the family dynamics (the sisterhood between Libby and Nora, the love between Charlie and his father 🥺). Loved it for the witty banter and the very meta talk about clichés , romance novels, and writing in general.
But mostly loved it for the many many “wow”, “OOF”, and teary-eyed moments it gave me.
Utterly obsessed.
