This book follows two friends in the 1960s and 70s. They are from two very different lifestyles, one is a local and one is a summer visitor, but connect when they are both hired to work part time at a record store. In the “present” the two have lost touch but are reconnected when one friend is trouble and turns to the other for help. I was immediately transported to the East Hampton beaches and loved all of the music references. At times, I found the story slow for a batch read, but know many readers will enjoy this!
