The Lake of Lost Girls by Katherine Greene
5.0
This was such a good read! The story was so gripped I was hooked right from the start. I love when a book can make me not want to put it down because the story is so enticing, and that is exactly what happened with this one. I’ve been looking forward to reading this book for months! I took part of the cover reveal, and teaser, and I knew it was going to be amazing. It was every bit as awesome as I had built it up to be in my head.
I love how this one was told in past, and present format. It was great how the past timeline was told from the missing sister, and the current from the other sister. I guess one of the twists on this one, but it was fairly minor and served up on a silver platter. The remaining twists, I didn’t guess, and the final one, my jaw was on the ground! I didn’t see it coming at all! It was so good. Oh and the mixed media was chef’s kiss, just fantastic.
I didn’t realize until I read the authors note at the end, that this book is written under a pen name and is actually two authors! It’s written so flawlessly that I couldn’t tell.
Thank you so much to @crookedlanebooks and @katherinegreeneauthor for sending me this book. All thoughts are my own.
