3.5 stars! I wish it had been longer so that some of the ideas would be developed more, and the words ‘magical girl(s)’ were used so so many times, they had lost all meaning by the end of the book, but it was honestly pretty charming and had such on-point manga/manwha/anime vibes, both in tone and in storytelling, that it was pretty delightful. It’s such a quick read, it really felt like sitting down and reading a volume of Sailor Moon. Perhaps it’s just nostalgia goggles talking but I don’t mind that.
