As novellas go, this was decent. I find it hard to connect with characters in such a short space of time, but it’s a Cosmere book so the writing and storyline were enticing, I just don’t particularly enjoy novellas. Why authors feel the need to do this, I’ll never know.

It’s a must read between WoR and Oathbringer, so hopefully it’ll pay off soon.
