Quite possibly the best in the series so far, this mystery seamlessly weaves two plots together into an international affair. Despite a plot heavy installment with missing antiques and a grisly murder tying to an old case of Bruno's, there is plenty of time to peek into the lives of Isabelle, Pamela, Giles, the Mayor, and, of course, Bruno and his new puppy, Balzac. Fabulous sounding food, a bit more traipsing around the region, and a total page-turner.
