4,5 stars.

Since there isn't a way to mark out favorite books besides rating them 5 stars, I'm doing it this way instead. The single most biggest issue I had was the at times questionable consent. I do think Colin accelerated too quickly from fondling to fingering, considering the time period, Minerva's age, naïvety and real lack of both experience and knowledge. Sure, Minerva did seem to like it alot and harbor no regrets, but I'd like a more emphasis on disclosure and consent before the act(s).

All in all, the book made me giddy and the characters felt like young adults, in a refreshing way. Two adventurous, young, naïve people are bound to create some waves in their passionate, albeit reckless attempts to defy the rules and save the day.
