** spoiler alert ** WOW WOW WOW. This series is shaping up to be so good. I am so confused about why I've never heard anybody talk about this series on booktube, booktok, etc. Maybe because the last book came out awhile ago but man is it worth looking into. I NEVER give 5 stars, let alone to the sequel AND the first book. I can't wait to continue reading this series.

We met so many new numbers in this story it was awesome. And everyone has a personality! I enjoyed the back and forth structure between Four's story and Seven's. It felt like I was reading two books at once and they came together so seamlessly at the end. We also learned more about Lorien and finally got to see what was inside Four's chest. I was excited to see the reunion between Four and Sarah, but I have to admit it fell short for me. The blatant jealousy emitting from Sarah was gross and to think she might have turned Four in to the FBI seems fake. This was never confirmed though, and I hope it isn't forgotten in the next book.

I listened to this book on audiobook and the narrators were awesome once again (I also listened to I Am Number Four). My one complaint about the story in general is that you can tell it was written by a man. The female behavior is sometimes so laughable and cliche that it pains me.
