Cetaganda by Lois McMaster Bujold

4.0

In a new adventure, Miles and Ivan are sent as envoys to the state funeral of the Empress of Cetaganda where they get mixed up in a secret political plot started by an upper class of beautiful women who float around in bubbles. In order to prevent both a war with Barrayar and a civil way between the governors of Cetaganda, Miles has to use all his wits and catch a few rides in floating bubbles.

This one was pretty silly, but still fun. Miles once actually calls himself a genius to his supervising officer. Miles personality flaws are definitely prominent in this episode, but well balanced with his strengths.
