I’m in love with this book!!!! everything about magical realism in romance works for me, and this one was no exception!! 😍

entirely unsure why this has so many low ratings on goodreads because everything about this story was perfect! I mean, don’t we all want to cast a spell sometimes to forget that we ever met a person? or an event? and when the spells goes exactly as planned … gemma finds out that more than just one thing has changed in her alternate universe 😇

for me, the highlight was choosing to focus on the concept that the grass may be greener on the other side, but taking stock and notice of what you do have in the moment is more important 🩵 I was getting a little worried that gemma would get too comfortable in her new reality & not focus on changing herself, but the ending more than made up for it!

and dax, our lovely pining best friend turned lover… I was worried since friends to lovers usually isn’t my jam, but this went so much deeper than that 🥹 I loved watching them in alternate timelines and finding that common ground and overlap!!

I loved chatting about this one with ashley because for once, we actually both had similar thoughts on a romance!!!! what a concept!!! this one is perfect for witchy and magic season 🔮✨
