What’s this about?
Lane, our FMC, is having an identity crisis and impulsively buys a school bus to renovate into her new home. Who better to help her with this renovation than her attractive mechanic friend, Matt. Lane’s bus isn’t the only thing that transforms in this friends to lovers romance.

I love the way Hannah Bonam-Young writes her MMCs—I fell in love with her work after reading Out on a Limb Last Year. Even though I primarily love enemies to lovers/morally grey men vibes, I'll eat up a good cinnamon roll MMC.

The only reason I didn't give this a 5/5 is due to the FMC putting the MMC through the emotional wringer with selfish behavior (when he's very selfless)—it dragged on a bit longer than I would've liked. It was then followed up by a scene that felt slightly less believable (and over the top) given her behavior.
