i love this book omg. i was NOT expecting to at all?? i literally bought this as a joke trashy read bc i’ve read one of the author’s other books and it was terrible (to hate adam connor). but it ended up being SO, SO good. it’s a very slow burn book, it’s 500 pages and it takes soo long for anything to happen between them but the slow burn was done so well that i loved it bc there was so much chemistry!! i loved jack as the love interest so much like he is actually the sweetest boyfriend ever. it is the grumpy sunshine trope but he’s not an asshole who’s rude to her and other people he’s just shy but he’s actually so attentive to her feelings and he notices every little thing like i’m literally obsessed with him. there were a few things from the book that were a little cringey, but i can look past them for the sake of the romance. i get why some people wouldn’t like this that much because well there’s basically no plot and it just kind of takes you through both the characters lives but personally i didn’t mind and i really enjoyed the book :)))
