Jules and Poppy are sisters. Poppy comes to Brooklyn and moves in with Jules. They are terrible to each other and their mother is terrible to them. I kept hoping something was going to happen and it didn’t. The book is just a bunch of daily interactions and conversations. I didn’t like any of the characters and can’t believe I stuck with the book. Some other reviewer said this book was like reading about Hannah from the show Girls if she had a sister and that is spot on. I was going to give this book 3 stars but that’s too generous it’s more of a 2.75 for me. Don’t bother.
