A Touch of Chaos by Scarlett St. Clair
2.0
My issues with this book, is it seemed to be two series, the touch of and the game of < if you don't read them alternating you will be confused.
ALso there is too much in this book, it should of been divided in half. Everything possible is thrown in this book. I will say listening rather than reading was complicated. I am used to hades and peresphone taking turns with chapter, but out of nowhere we get Diophuns telling chapters too.
this let to my disappointment in the book. It did a great job of telling the story of how Thesis brought the war to the gods, great plot on the progress of the war, but at times things happened with no back story to support it. I am guessing if I read the Game of in between things would be clearer.
Next time don't do two SEPERATE series and then meld them together. Not a great idea.
I do love Hermes and his much needed humor in this book,
