Jellaby by Kean Soo
5.0
I just lost my heart to a monster.
Except Jellaby is not a monster but a fluffy, purple friend I'd love to have in my back garden.
Now, I'm an expert on children (apart from being a child at heart myself), but I'll go out on a limb and say that the little ones would love this – Jellaby is adorable, and the actual human characters take up topics important to kids of most ages; (unlikely) friendships, bullying, secrets (and keeping them from your parents) etc. In Jellaby you get all this and the loveliest illustrations. It's glorious.
