The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

3.0

**Warning: this text may contain spoilers** I was expecting so much from this book since my friends and a lot of people said that this book is magnificent, but well... I sort of underwhelmed how the story turned out. I enjoyed it until the middle of the plot but totally lost it when the boy asked to change into the wind. And I didn't get the feeling between the boy and Fatima. I want to get this 'fulfilled' feeling after I read the last page of every book, but I just didn't get it when I read The Alchemist. I don't know, maybe this book is just lost in translation? But some lines and moral really did give me encouragement to follow my dreams and never give up on them (sounds cheesy but it's true). This book makes me question: should I read the other Paulo's books since I have bought the bundle one?
