Maybe it was because I went into this novel with low expectations (character-driven stories don’t always work for me and I read some less-than-positive reviews), but I LOVED this book. I related so much with Casey and found her to be such a likable, easy-to-root-for character. It’s always exciting to squeak in a 5-star read at the end of the year, too!
