3⭐️- okay so I really got into the beginning of this novel.. then it started to just feel like a chore to read. It felt like it took me forever and I honestly don’t think it needed to be as long as it was. The last 20% is when it picked back up and I sobbed a little at the end. 

The writing is lovely though and I really feel like the author did a great job of telling the story. Really that’s where the rating comes from.. Buuut it’s very descriptive so it dragged it out a little much for me. 

Didn’t DNF because it had some really captivating moments, but probably wouldn’t read it again
