It took me a bit to get into it and I nearly stopped reading but once I was about 100 pages in it sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down. The relationship with Carey and the friendship with James are so well written you can really feel the love and connection between them all. Would definitely recommend reading just be sure to give it 100 pages or so before you put it down. I think the beginning may have just been a little over edited was my issue with it where it was edited to a point that it lacked action in a sense because the rest of the book you could really tell the author went with her gut instinct on what she wanted to say and her gut instinct was totally spot on.
