Love at First Book by Jenn McKinlay

4.0

cute with complex characters! i really loved the mental health representation in this. some depictions of child abuse (retrospectively, like reflecting on it as adults), so TW for that. main beef was that it was kinda corny sometimes (“OMG” and “Ugh!” etc.). the random book quotes felt relevant and not forced which was nice. not enemies to lovers by any means, but they definitely start out on opposing lines. i liked this and i did tear up so thumbs up to that
