JUST WOW. WOOOOOOOOW. What a fun, mysterious and adventurous story! When I picked this up, I was instantly sucked in and I was not disappointed. The first chapter set my expectations, and it only continued to rise. Did NOT disappoint.

If you like solving riddles, secret passageways, puzzles and word games, you will love this book. I think what really sucked me in is that I was able to solve the mystery with the main character. I felt involved and the solution made sense. It was easy to follow along and I could not stop reading.

This is a unique story and it was very well written. The pacing was perfect and there was no dull moment in this book. It balanced well with character development and plot.

There are loveable characters with their own strong personalities, making it easy to distinguish them from one another. I absolutely love Avery, she was strong and a smart individual, who will stand up and face the challenges presented to her. Of course, I also love the Hawthrone brothers, along with the other secondary characters too.

This book also managed to capture a wide range of emotions. From anger, fear, love and sadness, The Inheritance Games had it all.

I regret not jumping on this book sooner but so glad that I finally did. An amazing story that is creative and unique. The Inheritance Games will be making its way to my top reads for this year.
