This was a fantastic sci-fi read. If you are reading this, you've either read the previous six instalments in this series, you are working on that or you are planning to. In any case, you are in some way invested in these characters, this world and this storyline. This is my sixth book in this series (I skipped the first one after watching the first season of the series) and I'll be sad to see this series end. Sure, the writing is simple at times, the characters a bit flat and the story is predictable at times, but the story world is amazing and believable and the careful use of ''alien tech'' makes you want to turn pages. Also, there are few annoying cliffhangers. It's a thrilling ride and I must say I can't wait until no. 8 this December.
