The Woman in Me by Britney Spears

4.0

I was really looking forward to this one because I was a Britney hater back in the day but started seeing everything differently over the past few years. It was really eye-opening to read about the hate she experienced from virtually everyone, in the press and even in her family. This book was really touching and I could hear it in her voice. I think it spilled the perfect amount of tea, addressing what people wanted to know most. However, it was written when she was still married, so now I’m hoping she’ll write an update in the next few years as she adjusts to this change and perhaps realizes she doesn’t need a man, since them taking advantage of her was definitely a major theme in this memoir.
