I’m still processing how to feel about this book. It’s told through 3 different perspectives, which I did enjoy. When I got into the book around page 50 or so I wanted to keep going, and then I got to part two. At this point the book is pretty much done. The twist was known, and it was easy to figure out the rest. I didn’t particularly enjoy the ending either, it felt too forced and like the bad guy won. I’d rate this probably a 3, maybe a 3.5 out of 5. Kind of disappointed it was one of my BOTM picks, I would have much preferred, and not been so annoyed, had it been a library book.
