It’s interesting and captivating but it’s very detached in the storytelling. It’s straightforward without having any emotional depth for most of the parts.

Luckily despite the straightforwardness of the writing style, it’s not completely telling us everything so it didn’t feel tediously over descriptive.

I loved the third part of the novel the best because it painted a better picture than the other 3 parts! It had a lot of depth and twists to the story. This is an entertaining story of greed, power, and that everyone has their own version of the truth.
It’s also an enraging but all too common look of how men (the characters not the author) write women to be their idea of entertaining, “putting her in her place” instead of showing her as the powerful, independent person that she is.

Trust is one of the most unique novels I’ve read and I really enjoyed it!
