This audiobook was fun. I don’t usually read stalker romances nor do I enjoy mafia romances, this book had a bit of both. It also had crazy hijinks, banter galore, quippy wit and witty quips, and a Labrador retriever MMC (he’s a cinnamon roll with a dark side). Both MMC and FMC were entertaining. The story storied. A little over halfway through I looked down to see how much time was left because, well, it could have ended there. Instead we take a turn with the mafia. Why, I wondered. Oh, it’s to tee up the next book.
The narrators were spot on. I loved them both. I’m now going to listen to everything Jacob Morgan/Zachary Webber has narrated. Listen to this book. The list of content warnings is long but the delivery is amusing.
