“Don’t resent me when I’ve only just gotten you, please, for I am what makes this world beautiful.”

OH MY GOOD GOD! THAT ENDING! I was getting suspect of that epilogue, but boy am I happy now.

Ngl, I was super excited for this one, but it took me a minute to really get into it. But once I did, OH BOY!

This is a literary masterpiece! So much undertone - death and grief, feminine suffocation and freedom, and twisted family ties.

“Because death is only a reprieve for the dead, Mr. Thorly. It cares little for those it leaves behind.”

Signa, my precious, was forged by fire and torture but doesn’t let that hold her down. And Death…All I’ve got to say is talk Death to me baby! ;) The murder plot is delightfully twisty and mysterious.

“So spread your wings, Signa Farrow because you are limitless. Spread your wings, and oh, how we’ll fly.”
