The Tiger Came to the Mountains by Silvia Moreno-Garcia

4.0

‘The Tiger Came to the Mountains’ is a historical fiction short story about survival during the revolution in Mexico 1917. This is told in first person and is based on a story told by the author’s great-grandmother.

This was a really gripping and emotional story highlighting the struggles of civilians during the revolution. I listened to this as an audiobook and i really liked the narration, it really made the whple experience. I love how the author created a fully fleshed out story in just 28 pages.
