How to Bite Your Neighbor & Win a Wager by D.N. Bryn

medium-paced

2.0

I'd be less mad at this if the book was a fluff piece ONLY, but the author seemed to remember halfway through the book that there needed to be a plot and decided on something lackluster to close up the book.

I didn't care for the metaphorical writing style, the pacing was off, and I absolutely resented Wesley. Wesley as a character was clearly supposed to be the morally superior, chosen one archetype and it was executed so poorly. I couldn't stand to be in his head at all. Vincent should have dumped him on multiple occasions.

For a book with needy vampire x horny human with a biting kink characters, I was expecting to like this a lot more but the execution didn't live up to the blurb.
