Even though I already knew I was going to like this book, reading Zero to 69 only reinforced my idea because I LO-VED it!

Clover Holloway, Thea Masen and Kate McDarris worked on the book with 6 hands. I don’t know how the writing was divided up, or who worked on what, but the result is a smooth read, and at no point do you feel that there are too many stylistic differences to make it a little more difficult to read. If I hadn’t known that three writers had worked on this book, I would never have realised that this was the case—and I really mean that as a compliment.

Another strong aspect of this book is the humour. Honestly, you expect a bit of it if you know the authors, but you are not disappointed for a moment. It’s a lighthearted story—with serious moments—that acts as a balm for the heart and the soul when you’ve had a hard day.

The three main characters in the book—Charlie, Sloan and Nash—are extremely endearing and it’s impossible not to like them. Sloan and Nash’s bond with each other, and then with Charlie, makes them touching characters. But be warned, these three don’t hesitate to push the gas pedal and make your engine roar in some extremely well written, spicy scenes.

I highly recommend this story and applaud the authors for this successful collaboration.
