“Our loved ones hang in the balance. If it can’t be trust, let vengeance bind us.”

I inhaled the first book and as much as I told myself I would take my time with this one... I didn't. I was immediately enthralled with the story. Our characters experience so much mistrust for each other and watching them try and find their way back to each other broke my heart. I enjoyed that we got some new characters, with some crazy plot twists I wasn't anticipating. I loved the reveals we got in this one because I honestly didn't see any of them coming. I enjoyed watching the dynamics between Royo and Aeri and  Mikail and Euyn because they are so different from the first book and still had me on the edge to see how things played out. I don't think I've ever been so invested in characters before. Sora... well she is still everything and I loved getting to see more sides of her in this one. Mai... we need to talk... I don't know why you decided to throw in some of those twists or scenes. I'm not sure why you no longer love the readers... who hurt you? Please give me the next book... I need it because I am not okay. I still don't think I've fully recovered to be honest.
