Read a lot like... a shounen anime, or a sitcom, where there is a plot... you just have to get through all the fillers and side plots first.
The twist had me though, bc I was getting too complacent in the sexcapades of dear Haru that I despaired and gave up any hope of a plot. Imo that twist gave the book 3 stars, or else it would have been a 1.
