To use Elton’s favorite word, this book was FANTASTIC! An honest, critical, yet proud look behind the curtain at a fabulous and tumultuous life. Taron Egerton’s narration is also excellent to boot. I’d recommend to any Elton John fan - this book gives this larger than life character both even MORE color and grandeur and also a splash of down to earthness (which feels truly impossible with Elton, but you do get a taste!).
