I’m not sure how to describe Colin’s writing style. Literary romance? Real and unflinching with an erotic flare. How you describe it, it’s stunning and emotional. Ultimately it’s beautiful.
Ryan and Dominic’s story is decades in the making. Their lives haven’t been easy, marred by the decisions of others, diverging paths, hurts, and loss. But through it is an undercurrent of love. Love so strong it’s palpable.
As teenagers they fell in love, first loves are always powerful, but they were torn apart. As always life moves on. They face real life…depression, new loves, new families, work, loss, and coming out. When a chance encounter brings these two back together. A second chance? Not without bumps along the way though, but somehow they find their way. Find a love so complete and beautiful.
Though is an emotional and heartfelt story, believe me when I say it is also steamy and sensual. A proper cycle of crying and fanning myself!
All in all a truly mesmerizing story that I know I’ll think about long after.
