Ahhhh I really really really loved THIS!! The chemistry between Orion and Elio was SUPER SEXY FIRE, the characterizations were ALL on point, the narrative was energetic, immersive and flowed really well, and the "good criminals fking up the evil criminals" plot will forever be a favourite of mine!

I think the Morettis might be the most endearing of all the Mafia families I've read to date, and after this installment I'm boosting this series to high rereadability because Neuhold delivered a knockout 5 and i want more of this in my brain!

It's obvs a bit of a bloody, aggressive, intense bruising kind of love story, but I sorta love it for these boys. Their obsessive, bitey, growly, fight-fk yielding to some soft tender moments as their relationship evolved, gave me heart eyes and sighs. I still have 'em.

Also, this level of intensity for all the kinks featured in this book was perfect for me. I'm a bit soft, and pain and shame in the game are not my thing, but everything in BSB really worked for me, so ymmv!

This has been a killer series so far, and it has now usurped Big Bull as my KMN fave...sorry to all the pet babies, especially Denali and Hamlet! Neuhold continues to be an author who always leaves me wanting more of whatever i just finished reading and I really love THAT! This was so freaking awesome and I can't wait for the rest of the awesome Morettis to fall in love so I can keep falling in love right along with them! Sal and Dante are gonna set my kindle on fire for sure, and i hope it (and every installment after that) will be 37846567843587 pages long because, for me, it will never, never be enough! ;p
